Actually how old are these girls?
They'd probly be illegal in the USA. Maybe not in Europe?
I'm fairly certain they're all around 17, except for Lilly, who would be 18. 17 is legal in some parts of the US (Texas, for example) and 18 is the general age for most of the states. With Emi's looks, you may just need to plead the fifth as hard as it can be plead, and flee to Mexico as quickly as possible. France is an acceptable choice, too, considering Roman Polanski.
Emi: 19
Lilly: 18
Rin: 18
Hanako: 17 (turns 18)
Shizune: 18
Misha: 17

All characters portrayed are 18 years of age (or 21 where required by law).

No, Emi is 19 and Misha is 17. You can find the information at the main site.

I, personally, hate stupid rules like that. Like we're supposed to believe high-school girls (or boys for that matter) never have sex, or that we're never supposed to discuss it openly. Were that true, where do teenage pregnancies come from? Or STDs? And what about abortions and that whole mess of digressions?

It always seemed hypocritical to me that the same society condemning accidental pregnancy and promoting abstinence (or safe sex at the very least) can then turn around and decide never to talk about the consequences. Keeping it a mystery just makes people more likely to want to find out about something - anything. Alcohol and drugs are the same way - if you don't say anything about them, it increases the likelihood of the person trying them.

Sorry, I might be ranting, but it irks me people can be so against something, enough to write out police reports or petitions, and then slap their mouths shut when someone wants to explore it conversationally - even in a fictional setting.

Missed the joke, but it was an obscure (and not very good) joke so it's okay. It's me laughing at how pornographic materials always seem to have small print about all of the actors and actresses being whatever the legal age is for the area that they are selling in. In sloppily written legal text, multiple ages are provided just to cover for contingencies.

I know way too much about porn.

Rules are for controlling people you don't like or respect, not helping to make a more stable social order.

If some idiot wants to take it out of context, I have a million logical, completely wholesome reasons.

Well, you have to take into effect the fact that the game takes place in Japan, in which case... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Age_o ... Global.svg

Erm I'm not a dev but as far as I know providing links to sprites is highly illegal. Devs are (amazingly) still frequenting these boards as you might know.
A few rules which were mentioned earlier in this thread:
  • 1. Watermark your posts
    2. Don't provide illegal links (at least not publicly)
    3. Don't quote recent images unless necessary
Anyway if anyone who is interested in doing these sprites and who wants some advice here are some quotes from previous authors.

Snicket wrote:I see, what did you do the make the borders around the text box?
Timed my screengrab key to a fadeout when there was no text on the screen, then dropped it in as a layer and used magic wand to remove the outer black part.

Duplicated layer, used magic wand to remove inner black part. Set first layer's transparency to 30% (I think).

If a smarter person here can suggest a less complicated method, let me know.
Note: Apparently by pressing 's' during KS you can get a screenshot. Doesn't work for me, but it might for you.

Playtime is the official KS font
DuaneMoody wrote: Shoopers will note that this font doesn't actually have a bold face (as seen in the character name titles); the libSDL_ttf code inside Ren'Py's pygame framework is likely generating it on the fly by rendering the font outlines with a thicker pixel border.
Snicket wrote: ...
"playtime with hot toddies" doesn't have a bold or italic option. Though there is a way to fake this in Photo shop. There is an option on the top tool bar next to the text warp tool. Called "Toggle the character and paragraph patterns" Highlight the text you want to mess with and click on the icon. (It looks like a graph icon from Microsoft Excel) and a little icon box should pop up. There you can make the font bold, italic, all caps. and etc. I literally just discovered this a few minutes ago when i messing around in PS. I hope this helps ;)

I'll add more if I find any more tips

Honestly, busing out the age-of-consent chart comes across creepier than any possible way of misconstruing Helbereth's post.

Hey, uh, can we stop talking about age-of-consent crap and make another blooper reel? I haven't had a good laugh in awhile =3

NO SAFE FOR WORK. This post contains nudity. So, you know, if you're at work and browsing though a forum about a game where you have sex with disabled teenage girls, you might want to skip this post.

Also, what kind of job do you have where you can do that sort of thing anyway?

You should have used Kenji's 'shaman eyes' picture for that last one, but I'm giggling like an idiot anyway.
