I probably said this one before, but sex is enjoyable at the biological level. That's why Akira asked if they (Hisao + Lily) were using protection. Knowing full well the consequences of what you're going into makes the 'dangers' of sex much lower. The danger comes when people/kids do it without knowing the consequences. STDs and the whole package.

Some people get disturbed at the thought of numerous crippled girls engaging in sexual intercourse. I'd like to say that un-disabling the adult scenes would be a first step towards understanding.And then accepting it, once they get over Katawa Dick Syndrome and head on over to the Shimmie for a good time. Hehe.

But I'm biased, so I wouldn't be sure where they're coming from and if my suggestion would be of any worth. Though, to avoid KS in any possible way, the sole reason being the sex scenes, that's a bit ridiculous. They're missing out on so many feels.

Sad, though. That betrays the fact that said people see people with such conditions as something other than human. Maybe it could be considered weird to focus on it, but it wasn't really the focus for most of the H scenes.

I guess my main point is, you have teachers using Minecraft as an instructional tool in schools. I like to think KS would be a great way to get teenagers interested in reading, or help kids with disabilities, or depression cope better. Unfortunately as it stands instructors can't touch it because of the sex scenes. I'm just saying that if there were a PG version where you just kissed and hugged without the sex, this might actually happen.

A) There is a PG version. It's called "disable the sex scenes". Hell, even enabled, it's still basically PG. It's just nude pictures.

B) Minecraft has millions of players. KS is very much obscure nothingness by comparison. The chances of it becoming some widespread learning tool are fairly slim even in a best case scenario.

C) It's not an instructor's place to help them cope with depression and all that anyway. But it would be useful for that.

D) You are an idiot, but only for assuming I'd call you one.

Well, I could see therapists making use of it. But then the sex wouldn't be an issue. Therapists can do whatever, it's just teachers who get stuck with shit guidelines.

Agreed. It's the whole dehumanization nuance that one feels from the controversy regarding the sex scenes why i ultimately support the way 4LS decided to go about it, even if it was most likely for other reasons. Granted there would still be some controversy, but it wouldn't be as bad if they weren't disabled. Hell, i've even seen that in the Cracked forums.

Also, while they're not therapists by any means, i think it is the role of a teacher to offer moral and educational guidance to his pupils beyond just the asignatures. Granted nowadays teachers have to get stuck with shit guidelines as Xanatos said, but i think the major role of a teacher is to help guide his students through school years.

You guys are right though. A creative therapist, psychologist, or even a social worker could probably get good use out of this VN. But of course as has already been mentioned, people would freak out that they're "handing out porn to kids".

A) I wish there were Safe-for-children version. My 14-years old ever whine about nudity of manga in manga's own thread and have been expelled since then.
