I never saw a single sporty -> nerd or sporty + nerd person. Sports take a lot of time one can spend on VG, so it's one or another imo.
And yes, for the sake of completeness, I saw lots of nerdy -> sporty persons. Some of them are sitting here and running with Emi several times a week.

I wouldn't say she'd spend a lot of time on it but I could imagine once in awhile her and Hisao get in a good Persona 4 Arena match. Again it wouldn't be something she spends hours a day on but I think she would be one to enjoy it. I think she'd like Mirrors Edge to !

Idk what you mean with the arrows but I know for a fact there are a ton of sporty+nerdy people out there, considering that demographic includes me and almost all of my friends. They're both forms of competition, sports are just more physical than video games while video games are often more cerebral.

I don't think running a bit each week really qualifies as sporty...
Not much of a sport.

Well I'd say Emi runs a bit more then a "bit" every week. Not to mention she does it competitively as a sport.

But we're not talking about Emi.
Having finally seen Pacific Rim (and for once in my life actually regretted being too broke to watch in theaters - it was pirated, sue me), I could see Emi enjoying it...

I recommend it. It's very good (unbiased *looks at profile picture*

Of course it's good. It's Guillermo del Toro and kaiju.

And is confirmed to have a sequel. And possibly a crossover with Godzilla (I'm hoping it happens. It's be awesome)

I am waiting for a dvd-version, because they already finished playing it in movie theaters, and screenies are of such horrible quality that I woudn't even try downloading it until the release of dvd version.
And working full time + running, doing pushups and pullups qualifies as being sporty for me, because I don't have much free time anyway. Yuuko_tears.jpg

I don't know about movies but I have a feeling Hanako will love the Hunter x Hunter anime. She seems like she likes reading/watching adventurous stuff and HxH is one of the best adventure anime I know of.The anime itself breathes adventure.I'm like at ep 20 and there isn't a disappoiting episode ( not counting the recap). Its that good.
Sorry if this sounded too off topic.
