Not always. I remember one poster telling how his dad scared everything out of his eldest sister's bully. THAT is how you frighten bullies.

Hello! Do you know what "most" means? :P  Very few are as awesome or as helpful.

Aye. Most adults assume that the problem will just go away. Even in KS itself. Meiko and Nomiya, for starters. And Jigoro.

Pretty much. You'd think it'd be common knowledge that people who harass others to get their jollies won't really give a single fuck if some old person says "Stop that."...

That's why you punch them in the face until they stop. Not very rational, and I wouldn't recommend it, but it's really the only way to make them stop if you really think about it.

But I don't like hurting others. I'm highly against it.

Like I said, speak a language the listener can understand. If it's through nice words, all the better. If not, break out the big guns. (Not a literal one, mind.)

Palsy here. Punching wasn't a strong point since one arm's worthless. I opted to claw (once upon a time, I utilized finger armor ending in claw tips for this - it was confiscated by a cop later and I never got it back), bite, and (if applicable) tear earrings out. That last one is very effective at getting the message across.

Funny. I've always thought of tearing piercings as a totally valid way of fighting. And a knee/leg to the groin.

 The way I see it, the goal of a fight is victory. If tearing bits off of people can achieve that, I'll go for it.

For a less violent but still effective message, hot sauce (I always carried a small bottle, just in case I felt like spicing up my lunch) slipped in their food or drink was fun. Get into their locker, tear up everything inside...And if the janitor's grimy mopwater bucket was left lying around, well, it made a fine weapon. Only good for one use though because I got in a lot of trouble that time. Took three of the bastards down to size though. They steered clear after the incident.

Did I ever mention that I'm vindictive?

Kind ain the same boat here. Although I don't have scars, I was treated pretty badly and teased through most of high school, to the point where even decades later I'm introverted and skittish around other people. More than anything that's what drew me to, and makes me feel so close to Hanako. I feel some of what shes going through.
Thanks guys, I'll try. If Hanako can do it, so can I right? :)
I am the male version of Hanako Ikezawa.

So yes, we're talking about how to fight back against bullying when we're supposed to be talking about Hanako's scars... You know, an interesting thing is, before I ever found and read KS, I had this thing where I would imagine how I would feel if someone I love got scarred, if I would still love her. I do that sometimes, I consider the worst case scenario and then say to myself that I'd still feel the same way no matter what. Cause truth is, a lot of people talk but few do the walk. I talk, walk, then salute and say "Show me your moves!"
