The poll is slightly more balanced now than the original 90% males, but 660+ males is just staggering.
Personally I played it because it was on Know Your Meme, which made me realise that it had a huge internet presence. I don't think anyone I know IRL has even heard of the game (before I ruined their life told them about it)

Shoot Kenji if i'm wrong, but isn't the minimum age of consent in Sweden 15? All of the candidates in Katawa Shoujo are between 17 and 19, so where is the child pornography thing coming in? What, does Rupert Murdoch run your newspapers or something?

Yeah, it is. But the government doesn't care about that. Many games have been banished because of it. I'll post a picture from one of those games.
Some years ago, a comics translator's computer was accidently searched by the police (They got the wrong adress.) They were actually looking for his neighbor, I think. Anyways, they searched his computer and found 39 pictures from a manga he was translating. Both the District Court and the Court of Appeals found him guilty of child pornography. This case has been discussed for a long time, and in May this year he was barely freed by the Supreme Court. If he wasn't a translator, he would definetely have been sentenced to prison.

This game was banished only because of this character (who I think is 19):

That's a bit riduclous of the Swedish government. Not to sound like a douche, but what are they accomplishing by finding people with child pornography? Are people who look at child porn a threat to society compared to say, a rapist? Not that I condone that activity, but Its still silly especially since the picture was not even of a real person.

I think I'll shut up now, as I don't want to begin a conversation about politics.

Yeah, most people I know hate the government.
It's good that they find people with child pornography, but only if it includes real human beings.
