Was listening to some GnR. Friend reminded me of Civil War, another great song but largely irrelevant to this game :p. Anyway, November Rain made me think about KS because of the first lyric being about holding back on love because of reasons. For Lilly, it's for a secret. For Emi, to avoid having to experience another loss of a loved on.

Oh man, [THIS MUSIC] made me think so very much of KS and now I'm playing it all over again and I feel like writing a whole lot of KS-based stories once more...

I agree with November Rain, with the piano also, but especially the first lyric. Strange that I had the same thoughts as someone else!

November Rain: Part of the Official Video linked above gives me a feel of what Hisao/Saki would be.
Am I the only one who feels that Aikuro Mikisugi is basically how Jigoro looked and acted in his younger years?

A R.E.M. song, "Don't go back to Rockville". The lyrics is an open request to a girl, who was returning to his home town "Rockville", to not leave.
Well, i imagine Hisao who sing "Don't go back to Scotland" to Lilly

Take this piece from Cavalleria rusticana, which is known to film lovers as what played over the opening of Raging Bull and the ending of The Godfather Part III, which makes me see this:
An elderly Hisao full of remorse over the women that were part of his life but were taken away from him - Iwanako, Lilly, a daughter etc. before suffering a fatal heart attack alone and unloved outside his home in Hokkaido.

Lilly's route, good ending, when Hisao wakes up in the hospital after his collapse in front of the airport, or actually maybe better just before he decides to run after Lilly, THIS would be the perfect song!
As I wrote Monomyth, there were a bunch of songs floating around my head for various characters and pairings which I eventually dubbed the "Molly Mix v4.0: Yamaku Redux" and referenced in Cordially Invited as Molly's way of remembering her friends while she was back in Britain. May as well post it here for people's thoughts.

I work at a radio station, curating a DJ-submitted playlist of songs that airs when no one is currently on air.
Someone added the fucking multiball theme (DJ Fresh - Gold Dust). I could not believe my ears.
