Also when Hisao starts falling in love, gettin a crush or whatever the hell he is doing with Emi in act 2 it reminds me of REO Speedwagan - Cant Fight This Feeling
Emi in general reminds me of Lynyrd Skynyrd - Still Unbroken
And Act 1's official anthem should be Bon Jovi - Welcome To Wherever You Are

I could go on for years but this is good enough I guess. Let me know what y'all think.

If Lilly's route was a 90s romantic comedy movie, I feel like this is the song that would have been played during the ending credits:

I find the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) OST to be quite KS-like and often listen to it while I write.

Something that Brits in our mid/late 20s might remember (ya bo sucks to you Munchy) is The Raggy Dolls, an animated show set around a toy factory and the adventures of the titular Raggy Dolls, a group of dolls that got thrown in the reject bin because of various manufacturing errors e.g. being overstuffed, poor stitching leading to loose limbs, components being back to front, fall damage, incorrect wiring and getting caught in machinery. Openly admitting they are rejects because of their faults, the show was designed to encourage children to think positively about physical disabilities, as well as teaching kindness, tolerance and humility towards others

Narrated by Neil Innes, known for his collaborative writing and music work with Monty Python, he also wrote and sung the show's theme tune. With all this, how couldn't I think of KS.

That's sadistic genius and I love it. Gonna have to listen to that on a loop now.

This just makes me think of Hisao's situation in general (maybe Rins? I haven't played Rins route after all these years x)

This is cheating, but pretty much all the songs rtil used in his instafeels series are now registered in my mind as Katawa Shoujo related.
