I would provide a brief history but I feel like I shouldn't, because I couldn't find a direct quote from him about it aside from him mentioning it and ducking out or mentioning he has been warned against it. That said, I will show you a skirmish that happened recently, although it was in jest.

Disclaimer:
Waifu wars are entirely fictional and no one here actually dislikes eachother.

I dunno about that last bit, but the first bit definitely. There's only one real rule about 'Waifu Wars'.

Rin a shit.
Always.

Yes, I have nothing against her as a characther but I don't understand how she can be a Waifu.

Both of you should just light yourselves on fire and jump in a hole. 3:

It's just that this is the only one of the five girls I can't see in a sexual way. (Emi, I can a little.)

A desolate plain of tissues and forum users lying on the ground. In the distance you can see an old computer screen slowly flickering between a picture of Hanako and flames. As you look to your left pans you see another, one of Emi and a forum page. You look to your right, and you see forum users at each other's throat, clearly knocked out by the nuclear blast released by a new user joining the fray. A talented eye would notice that the users were clearly in five camps, although only two computers remain, leaving you wonder why this silly waste of time even happened. As you walk away, you accidentally step on one of the victims. He looks up at you slowly, and you see his face is marred by time and stress. He obviously hasn't had any water in at least 3 hours. "... Who won? Emi... or... Rin?..." He fades back into his unconscious state almost as soon as he woke from it.
"Waifu War. Waifu war never changes."

At this point we should probably make a new thread or stop talking so it doesn't get too far off topic.

It's the central topic, when it comes to emotional reactions to KS. Without the silicon waifus, there wouldn't be any of that.

And an airship carrying the banner of Hanako rifes in the sky and announces the supremacy of the Hanabros. (Who have wons because flamethrowers are better than sword-cane, prothestic high-kick, ect ...)

"ALL HAIL QUEEN HANAKO !" proudly chants the General Zarys

And as such, CoffeeDrive of the Rin's Kin brigade uses his reality marble, "Cloud world" a world where he is able to use his imagination to create any situation imaginable, he then uses the power he has gained, to summon a flurry of blades into the Envelope of the airship, sinking it and killing all aboard.
"No one can beat Rin in the clouds."

Screw it might as well join in now.

Djinni Legions. Djinni legions on Hanako's side. Just putting it out there. Because, you know, being underground is nice when you have swords after you.

The General Zarys says "I'll never die, I'll never die, nor will i ever be beaten..."
"Ahaha, CoffeeDrive..you haven't won, just so you know
I'm going to duck inside this “Absolutely Safe Capsule” for the time being.
When I'm inside, no attack will have any effect on me whatsoever.
I'm sure you're thinking to yourself, “Yeah, right. There's no such thing as "absolutely"...
But there is such a thing... And it's this!
The Absolutely Safe Capsule I tricked Mutou and Kenji into making for me!
Me ! all of me !"

Zarys sealed himself inside the Absolutely Safe Capsule with Hanako.
The Absolutely Safe Capsule doesn't do anything.
Inside the Absolutely Safe Capsule, Zarys is sticking his tongue out at you.
Because Zarys and Hanako are sealed inside the Absolutely Safe Capsule,
the battle is, by definition, over.

Zarys, however, had forgotten one thing: the Hanabro Federation's teleporation technology.

And thus the story ended with Hanako marrying Grand Admiral Paragon and living happily ever after with him on a spaceship.

The end, GG, I win, you lose, good day

Alas, poor Hanako had a panic attack of epic proportions during the teleportation, because some wierd ass space shit was happening.
She died in transit.
Rest in pepporonis.
