Okay, sorry.
(I understand why you don't want to allow the discussion here)
Thanks for the explanations; it's seems credible for me, of course it's obvious that Hanako scars don't have to be 100% realistic.; but i see how she can don't have a wing but scars on her face now. (and maybe her hair is not perfectly symmetrical, if the right edge of the scalp is damaged but if she pay attention to the length of her hair, it is also possible and don't need that Hanako mention this to Hisao, because it's quite minor)
I have never thought about, but it is true that it is surprising that she does not suffer from any problem of flexibility because of her burnt skin...it is mentioned in his sex scene ? Perhaps she is not too affected her joints and she has received surgery for better bend her right knee and her right elbow....after all it's mentionned that she spent some time in the service of large-burned...or I go too far in the requirement of realism.
I am a little more puzzled with the decreasing of the Hanako's Scars in "A Runner's Afternoon"; it's really possible ? if her growth could help, it should be less effective from 18 to 30 years than 8 to 18. (But I admit that I'm not a big fan of the reduction of her disability as a symbol of her strengthening, most disabled people don't get better physically so I find it a little innapropriate but I doubt that was the intent; but i want to say that it's just the only one false note in a masterpiece
and maybe it's me who misjudges)

While not being bald, I do think she should have at least some hair loss. For example for those of you who have seen Avatar:The Last Airbender, Zuko is missing hair on the side of his head with the burn. As in the case of Hanako she shouldn't be Dr.Evil level of bald, but more like Zuko. With the hair on the side of the burn less prominent which could be the case since she brushes her hair over the scar. One last thing we need to discuss and it is very important! Is..... you guessed it Hanako's Pubes.
I'm assuming that she has them, or at least the capability for hair to grow there. Since during the H-scene with The H-master; Hisao. There wasn't a burn, unlike Kenji's moves of the dance floor.

No. Zuko has hair there, at least after he cut the topnot and grew it out. There was no real damage.

To me it looks like the hair around his temples have receded. However, I am not a hair specialist so I can't say for certain.

Nah.
If you look at a picture of Zuko with his hair that short from the front the recession is negligible.
I mean there was also a few points when he was still bald and the burn extended farther back onto his head, past his ear, and the hair grew over it, but yeah.
EDIT:
I just realized I misread what you posted. Yeah, the hairline being damaged would make sense. However, Hanako's hair is long enough to completely cover any notable hairline damage.

It happens when people somehow confuse a short-haired male with a burn on the left side of his head with a long-haired female with a burn on the right side of her head.

Because females are immunized to hair damage ?

We're talking about Zuko? Sweet.
If you use Zuko in season 2 as a reference, you can clearly see that being burned has effected the growth of his hair on the left side of his face, from where his sideburns would be, all the way to behind his ear.

He is burned to what degree ? his burn seems much less serious than Hanako's burns.
I don't think that Zuko is very realistic, his burn is idealy designed for only makes him more badass and sexy.
(Like he is perfectly designed to become sexy with his new haircut)

I think it's just that drawing a burn scar isn't very easy. Hanako's burns don't look very realistic in game either.

Yes, it is true, but at least Hanako scars are treated realistically in the text.
But I stopped trying to find how would really looks Hanako, this is too random without any serious indications. (and I confess that I feel bad when I think I could find her too hideous to endure her presence when I liked her in the game; this is the closest I've lived to push someone we appreciate if he was suddenly disfigured, so I feel very guilty about it)
PS : So I have used two times the term "sexy" to describe Zuko, I hope it doesn't seems bicurious.

Burn scars can look very different depending on the person, degree of the burn, immediate treatment and correct treatment and the formation of the scar.
Some of them can look very very horrifying. If we assume that the burns weren't able to make her go bald, I'd say that, while the scars obviously are frightening (Hisao mental remark that he didn't knew that something like that is even survivable comes to mind), they aren't as bad as they could have been.
The games describes the scars as making her look very unique, because she is beautiful. Tainted by scars, but still beautiful.
It's hard to come to terms to what Hanako might look like if she existed.

He is one good looking burn victim, so I don't blame you. Plus, being bi is probably the best way to live, IMHO.

OT: It's very hard to imagine what Hanako would look like in real life. I can pretty much picture Zuko perfectly, though, Hanako is a bit more difficult. Not sure why.
