I assume the weird colors are an early stage of shading? Anyway, I'll have to admit that it does look a bit odd with the lower lip. I think it would look better as you said, with a simple smile. But then again, I can't really tell yet.
Otherwise it looks wallet-crushingly great! ^^

A Hanako one would be very pretty *u*. Though i would need some job to buy it.

Surprisingly, as far as I know Hanako is the only character that isn't being worked on at the moment...

Rin has been completed
Emi is almost finished
Shizune is coming along quite nicely as far as I can see
and I know of people that are currently planning Lilly. Whether or not that works out, I can't say.

...it's surprising because Hanako has such a large following... I have some people that have contacted me, showing interest, but no one has stepped forward yet...

Smile is still a bit off I think, but it's looking better. I have asked her to make the smile a bit smaller, think that'll fix?

I think it looks strange because emi has no eyes and is not blushing
Of course I guess it would be a pain in the ass to paint a figure and then redo it because the smile is wrong, so I think you should go ahead with the smaller smile

I think the head looks better now. Making the frame of the glasses thinner and removing the lenses will make it look much better. Plus need to move the arm to a more fitting position.

I like the level of detail in every figure.
Well, if they rippin ye off, they better be doin it real good.

Shizune herself looks great, those glasses however are WAY off.
