Actually, all three of them are on the Shimmie and have names.

On the left is Meiko, Emi's mom. In the middle is Sae, she's probably a teacher. Miki is the dark girl on the right. You've seen her before, in the big classroom CG. She's one of Hisao's classmates.

The addition of Emi's Mum/Mom/Mutti implies we'll meet the other girls parents as well. I'm really glad there are more characters than just the characters from Act 1...and Kenji

Man, that would totally steal Hanako's thunder. It is kind of disturbing that I think it would only serve to increase her popularity, rather than decrease it.

This is Shizune's Mum (according to the shimmie at least) Her name is Mayoi, and seems quite likely to appear in the game.

And Jesus here, according to the shimmie, is Shizune's Dad. His name is Jigoro, and likewise could also appear in the game.

What do you guys think, have the devs also snuck Hitomi and Hachisame in there, somewhere, as easter eggs? No story role whatsoever, no major appearance, but just a fleeting glimpse of them in one of Rin's paintings in her room, or something.

Who are Hitomi and Hachisame?

I see game images of miki (brown handless girl), so I suppose she's going to be around taunting you about never having her path, just like Misha.

Hitomi is a moe cyclop and Hachisame is a brown skinned shark-octopus by some artist on the mishimmie, they make a quick appearance on Rin's path, when Rin tries to draw characters from Hisao's novel.
