Megas XLR. The show was such high levels of FUCKWIN, that were it still around, I think that even /a/ would agree that it is the best american anime-style cartoon. Here's a snippet of the opening theme song:

Actually, that's pretty much the entire theme, set to about 3 minutes of unnecessary guitar solos. It revolved around Coop, a mechanic living in Jersey, who randomly came across a giant robot. So what does he do? What any red blooded american teenager with access to power tools and imagination would do.

MAKE DAT SHIT ORKY. PAINTS IT BLUE CAUSE DATS LUCKY, ADD MORE WAAAAAUGH, ADD MORE DAKKA, ADD MORE WAAAAAUGH. Enter super hot alien space chick. Hilarity ensues.

Like all great things, the show failed to garner attention away from the Yugioh and other short lived shows of that day. Coop is what any teenage boy aspired to be: a dude who drove around a giant mech with vidya game controls, ate lots of fatty food, played the vidya, and hang around with your best BRO and super hot alien chick. Sometimes AT THE SAME TIME.

/a/ actually streamed it on livestream once, alongside older anime like Gundam and Outlaw Star. It still has quite a following today.

Man, I miss Megas XLR.

It was awesome. So of course the (censored) cancelled it.
