Whenever I listen to this song, I always imagine a little music video about Emi and/or Hanako.

Kinda like through the verse, it shows Emi having a particularly bad day. She's tripping at the track, letting people slip past her, getting more and more frustrated, seconds from giving up...
Then when the chorus comes in she sees an apparition of her father on the sidelines, shouting encouragement.

"Hey now, stay proud,
You were lost on a Blue day!
Hey now, stay proud!"

Second verse is a similar sort of thing both with Hanako and both of her parents encouraging her to continue.

Hisao and Kenji get drunk.
Enough said.

Collective Soul - Heavy

General feeling of KS being well, heavy.

Makes me think of Hisao (or any other student, really) opening up to people, or taking on a relationship.

Red - Let It Burn

Parts for Hanako's route overall, parts for Lilly's bad ending.

Or another interpretation, the whole song for Shizune's bad ending from her POV, except she never found out about Hisao cheating on her with Misha.

Ah, very true that is a good choice. I could see Misha getting in with the Ska crowd if she was a teen in the 90s.

Come to think of it, this gem is a pretty spot on for Hanako during her good end. From her point of view that is.
