Hanako is my favorite and strangely enough shortly after her is Lilly. Normally I don´t really like character like her but as I played the Hanako route I got to love her more and more. And her ending was better than Hanakos.
Third is Rin, mostly because of her ending and because she´s somehow challenging.
Then Shizune. I did like her more in the beginning but she got annoying later and I couldn´t stand her being so mean to Lilly and Hanako. I even like Misha more than her but I don´t include her here for obvious reasons.
Last place goes to Emi, not because she´s so bad as a character but due to the fact that she´s plain boring.

After a little while has passed, my favorites changed a bit. Used to like Hanako the most, now she's second, and Rin's first. Misha's third (don't remember if she always was).

My favorite is Hanako. I just love these Shrinking Violets. Lilly is second and Rin is third.

I have to say that I don't really like Shizune. Even after I played her route.

Emi is my favourite by a pretty large margin.
Hanako would come in as second, closely followed by Misha if she had her own path.
After them it would again be a close choice between Rin and Lilly... Rin 4th and Lilly 5th.
Shizune 6th by a very large margin again. Yuuko would probably beat her if I included her in this list.
No idea where to put Akira. We don't really see enough of her in Act 1.

well, guess this is just as good as an example for the phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" as any.

Not so much when she is arguably the most popular character in the game. But on a personal level, I suppose it works.
