Even in the game itself, Hisao compares Nomiya's outburst to his own. I... have trouble buying this. Why?

-Hisao cares about Rin as a person.
-Nomiya cares about Rin because she makes good art.
-Rin pushed Hisao away and neglected him.
-Rin didn't push Nomiya away. She ran away the interviewers, not from him.
-Hisao did everything he could to try and understand Rin.
-Nomiya... didn't.

Honestly, Hisao needed to chew Rin out. He was justified. She needed to wake up and understand that she couldn't ignore people who cared about her.

Nomiya's attack on the other hand, was utterly unfounded. Rin's leaving the gallery wasn't a strike against him; it was her reaction to being pushed into something she never wanted to do in the first place.
Yeah, I never got that comparison either. Hisao's outburst was harsh but justified. Nomiya's...Was just awful.
I love the interpretation of Pac-Man where he's a just a lowly worker retrieving golf balls left all over the course by the rich masters and the ghosts are all previous workers who got conked on the head and killed by incoming golf balls in the line of duty.

I don't like him cuz he is kind of creepy. Even for teaching standards he is really creepy lol. Plus none of the characters really like him either, so I would just assume that he was meant to be creepy. That is the main reason quite a few of the characters don't like him either, but they describe more as unsure of his personality which is a kind way of saying creepy. No matter how badly he wants Rin to succeed no teacher should show the vast amount of favoritism he does. In reality that generally means he is stalking her or even forcing her into obscene events with him. It's just not normal.

That isn't at all what that means...And I highly doubt he's stalking or molesting Rin, as much as the fanart loves to suggest it.

It's almost like the poster's head canon is that he was molesting Rin because he... likes, that idea? Eugh...

The developers said that while Nomiya definitely has his flaws, he's not a molestor.

Also, if Rin's the only person Nomiya believes has the talent to do an exposition, there's nothing wrong with him just trying to sponsor her for that kind of event and not the other members of the art club.

That happened to me once, it was like, woah. I kinda sat there for a while and then walked away.
OT, just wondering if it's ever established Nomiya's level of skill art-wise, I realize hes a teacher and all, but does her ever whip out some arts that I missed?

He does effortlessly fix something Hisao's working on early in Rin's route, while he's still trying to get into making art himself. That's the only indication I can think of, though.
