I've come to the conclusion that Rin is difficult to write mostly because in her route Hisao is pretty oblivious. There are so many times when I nearly screamed at the screen (which I guess is a credit to the writing) because of Hisao's unfathomable thickheadedness. I just recently incorporated Rin into my fic, and while her dialog certainly took the bulk of the effort, I was surprised at how difficult it was to write Hisao in a way that wouldn't paint him as a complete moron for not understanding some of the things Rin says.Hoitash wrote:I've noticed that, too.
