So I was watching AMV Hell Minis 4.
Kind of a stretch, but still blew my mind when I saw it. The anime is Sasami Magical Girls' Club.

I'm sorry i don't see the similarities.

The blank look in her eyes gives me a Rin vibe. The pink-violet hair with two structures on the side of her face seems a little like Misha. All in all the resemblence isn't that strong.

My first thought is Ryou from Clannad, but once you mention Rin I can see it in her expression.

No. Hiyono has braids. Misha has curls. Completely different. I should know, I obsess over Hiyono... LOL I just pay too much attention to little details of my favorite characters... But really... Curls do not equal braids.

In Lucky Star volume five those yonkoma side sketch things had the girls in various different hairstyles, and I had to wonder if this one was a reference or a pure coincidence.

True, especially considering that Lucky Star is a bit older than KS. If anything, it would be a ripoff of Lucky Star, which isn't the case.
