Anyway, thanks to The Sims 2, I've developed a new headcanon. Y'know the gag about how Yuuko has a clone/twin/parasitic doppleganger to explain her timeline-fucking Shanghai/library gigs?

Well, now she's a plant creature rooted into the floor of her house and the two Yuukos that work at Yamaku and the teahouse, respectively, are secretly humanoid duplicates created from spores.
She needs a steady income for plant nutrients and proper lights, you see.

No doubt she ended up living in Yamaku's prefecture then because they're legally cool with that sort of thing
