You can and you will.
And you
will enjoy it, or die crying.

It's a crazy idea but the soundtrack might be the only way to save him. I need 500 cc's of parity followed by a lower dose of teatime, fast forward and if all else fails start Red Velvet.

I would continue this conversation but there is a great chance silent cook will blast us into infinity if we continue on this route.

As many here probably have, the first time I went through this novel, I chose options that seemed to fit best with Hisao (and not necessarily what I would do in the situation). It seems that doing this can easily lead to Emi's story, and it did for me. Though Emi is outgoing and athletic, while I am definitely not (and I am a bit too Rin-like for my own good), I was able to appreciate her story, and I liked how she developed into a complex character. Of course, I liked having Rin there as a sidekick in the story; she added some needed contrast to Emi's exuberance.
Now, I have completed Hanako's and Rin's stories, I've been to the roof with Kenji, and I've just started Act 2 of the French translation of Lilly's. Rin's story is the one that hit me the hardest, probably because I can see myself over-Rin-ing any guy who is crazy or stupid enough to try to romance me, but I'm glad I started with Emi's story. It is a good introduction to the world of this novel.
I look forward to the rest.
Heather

Sounds very nice. It's been over 9 months and I still boot up this "game." I'm going to give the girls other than Hanako a second run through, although I'm sure there will be a Hanako run between each. I mean, 7 times of seeing the same story play out the same exact way and I still haven't had enough.
By the way, welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

^I think most people get the manly picnic trying to figure out how to start their preferred girl's route. I did.

A friend of mine started a pre-saved file that was in Act 1 and leaning towards Hanako's/Lilly's route. He got the manly picnic shortly afterward, told me that it was the best visual novel he'd ever played.
(The only route I haven't done is Lilly's, and I'd get to work on it if my heart didn't collapse every time Wiosna played in the main menu.)
