You know, I've read this story a few times before. But each time was years in-between, and every time I stumbled across it whilst re-reading Summer's Clover (where Suriko linked it in the description).

You'd think I'd remember how this goes.

But still, inevitably, I forget, and this masterpiece of a story ambushes me with that ending like a sack of bricks.

Ah yes, this one. A forum classic alongside that one comic about Hisao giving Hanako the chocolate. All Katawa Shoujo fans must read this at least once.
