What is seen cannot be unseen.

Writing could have been better in spots. Could have been much worse in others. All in all, I liked it. Hanako's arc always reminded me of a particular song, and for some reason, this fanfic actually brought that feeling even more strongly.

Still in the middle of reading this, but I have to say, this is one of my favorite hanako epilogues.

Really good story. I am really happy that I read this. I have to admit... I cryed like a little girl at the end.

And now i'm done.

I remove the qualifier. This is the best Hanako epilogue I've ever read.

If that's all and there's 17 chapters then those chapters must be kinda short

It explores theories of which I bring up in arguments considering canon such as, if Lilly would in fact leave for Scotland the second time if Hisao was in Hanako's life.
As well as that it also touches on how emotionally stable Hanako really is despite being with Hisao and other stuff of the same theme.
In my opinion, its the definitive canon for Hanako... So yeah, it's kinda worth the read

Um, the story is essentially a continuation of Hanako's storyline from that kiss in public up to the point where Lilly's storyline ends in KS. (with the exception of the intermezzo which takes place at the time Lilly still lives in her parents' home with Akira instead of in the dorms) The story consists of two plotlines that more or less follow each other up.

One describes Hisao's and Hanako's budding relationship with the insecurities both still feel lurking in the background.

The other describes Hanako's determination to improve her friendship with Lilly beyond their initial mother-daughter bond and into the kind of friendship Hanako really wishes for...a motivation brought on by both her relationship-upgrade with Hisao and, secretly, a desire to pay Lilly back for the role she played in getting her a boyfriend.

It's rather slice-of-lifey at first, so it takes some time to pick up speed.
