47 - Wow, that's really generous of you. I finished Digital and I kinda liked it's oldschool setting and different approach to telling a story.

"Analogue" is what introduced me to visual novels. I saw it on Steam and, still flush with birthday money (April 29th), decided to buy it after playing the demo. I quite liked it, and I'd probably be writing fanfic about it right now if I hadn't been directed to KS by someone on Steam's Analogue forum - which reminds me, I need to go back there and thank him.

Personally, I've always enjoyed stories that had something to say beyond just telling the story, even when I didn't agree with them (Isaac Asimov and George R. R. Martin both do that for me) but I recognize not everyone feels that way. Also, it introduced me to a subject I had been completely unaware of previous to playing, so that was a good thing, too. I've got "Don't Take It Personally, Babe..." downloaded but haven't installed it yet. Still getting KS out of my system.

Ahhhhh ms. Love. I'm glad that she has moved onto making games to make a little money as well.I do like her work well enough to approve of that. Though I too feel like 10 bucks might be a bit more than I'm willing to put down on it, knowing someday it will be on sale or in a bundle or something.

Anyway, give me 25. It's one of my favorite numbers, and right at the middle.

I'll take 5, please.

I've seen videos of Analogue, and it looks promising. I'm glad it resembles Digital more than Don't take it personally. Don't take it personally had some pretty good concepts, but it was too cluttered and gave you too much information at once. For example, I never even realized the message boards were a Greek chorus until my second playthrough. Also, the fact that your decisions mattered very little kind of made my experience feel shallow.

The core "theme" of the game regarding privacy and technology didn't even strike me as a theme at all until very close to the end. Because the teacher had been given permission from the Board of Ed (or was it the headmaster?) to spy on the kids to prevent bullying, I never even though about the peeping as wrong or even questionable. I never realized it was an "If you are captured or killed we will disavow any knowledge of your actions" sort of situation. Which made the lecture at the end really silly for me; I hadn't thought of rifling through the students messages as immoral, but the idea of privacy fading away still seemed absurd. (There's also the issue that you aren't given a choice to view the students' messages or not, making the dilemma feel excessively railroaded.)

To be fair, Don't take it personally was apparently written in just a month, which explains many of its oversights (especially the clumsy preachy lecture near the end).

Sorry for being late with the contests (out of town for work) anyway, the deadline has pass and I will no longer be accepting more people.

As for the contest it self, I will make the video some time next week and post here as soon as it done.

Again, sorry for the delay.

Hey guys, just giving you guys a update on the contest. Is still going to happen this week and instead of using random.org I'm going to build a "katawa shoujo" prize wheel and film it with my camera. The prize wheel itself will look like some close to this, http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Prize-Wheel

I'm do thing instead of random.org because I felt it would be more fun than just using a online computer generated wheel. however, if most of you guys can't wait for that, I would just used random.org and put out a video that way.

Thanks.

In case you think I'm lying about this whole thing,
here a screen shot of my steam account.

Again, if you guys can't wait than I will use random.org
