For some reason I find the very idea hilarious.

I can just imagine Hisao getting ambushed by a bunch of guys, getting knocked out, and waking up tied to a chair with a bag over his head. And then being warned that if he ever even talks to Hanako, his kneecaps will get broken.

And I can just imagine Hanako's reaction to finding out about this secret society. XD
...and here I thought talking to Lilly would be the most dangerous thing that could happen.

No digital media appreciation club? Well guess I'll be the first then. A pioneer to the land of the interwebs at Yamaku HS.

But I voted for the Literacy club because I'm an avid reader when I get into a series. Most I read in a month was like 6 500pg books. Also I'd be at the mercy of Hanako, she mah favourite.

Naturally. :)

Alright! Studying church history by day, getting shot to a pulp by night! Sounds like a club!

So from the club poll I would conclude:

1. Lilly would have 14 people acting as her (un)official escort/guards/fans who would answer anytime, anywhere she requested (and to a degree, prevent Hisao: master of romance, to even approach her [any other male counterpart who wishes to get close will risk facing the 14 members])

2. A book/literature club was established totaling up to 23 members (secretly, it operates as 'Hanako's Guards' without her knowledge of its existence, which details to 'light' escort, assistance, and prevention of 'MoR' (Master of Romance) from getting within 5-10m distance [any male counterpart wishing to approach Hanako will ultimately be wound up somewhere in the resource room, hands tied to a chair, and interrogated extensively by 23 individuals])

3. Emi will have 10 potential running partners--how's that for breaking the habit?

4. Nomiya will receive 5 new members, all of which will often stay after school to assist, model, or listen to Rin's rambles

5. Five people will break their bones and their heads (me included) working under Shizune's undermanned Student Council--with one guy attempting to overthrow the president.

6. Five people will go home, and possibly spend their time doing whatever--Manly Picnic with Kenji seemed to be the more popular option for the 'go home' club.

They always said the book club was a popular club...

Now we know why. :)

Well i think the track team or student council will be the most benifical to the school itself ... with both Shizune / Misha and Emi looking Towards the future generations of Yamaku ( Lilly only seems to do the whole class rep thing because she has to not because she wants too , Hanako has lots of social problem and Rin is Rin ) So i prob would do both track and Student council ... but i could only pick one so student council it is

My vote goes to the Literature Club too, but not because of Hanako, just because it seems to me the more viable option. For second choice I'm undecided between Art Club (just wanted to be able to draw) and stayin' home.

Interesting choices.

I think if I was still in HS I would probably pick the Art Club. I was an Art and Music major. (I think one of my paintings is still hanging in the school, over 20 years later!) However I changed ALOT in the intervening years. Became more confident, moved away from Art (which was really just a way for me to express my creative side. I was never pro caliber anyway.) and moved into IT/Engineering, which I probably would have been into in HS had it not been the '80s and everybody still thinking you needed to be a math major to be in IT.

I've also become much more outgoing and driven, and have learned alot about myself since then. (much more emotionally mature and confident.) NOW, if I suddenly found myself "body swapped" with a teenaged version of me, I'd absolutely join the student council. I would drastically improve my grades and actually do my homework and become an excellent student (because I would be thinking like a 40yo me, not a teenaged me.) Then I would go and get me some Shizune! Oh, and there would be no "3 musketeers" ending. We'd take the photo, but then I would be off with Shizune to work together on our respective MBA's and to start a business together. We'd be rooming together during college and probably be hitched shortly after commencement.

Now, If Hisao was already on the Student Council and already dating Shizune, I might try and steal her, but I would probably respect her decision (and be too much Hisao's bro) and not be willing to break them up. In that case I would try to go for the secret Misha "conversion" route. Maybe I'm overconfident, but I figure if anyone can get her to switch teams, it's me. (Because I'm such a cunning linguist, dontcha know. Whahaha~! )

EDIT: Corrected the time differential for my HS years. Forgot how long it's been! (And now I feel reeeeeally old... :( )

You are a daring one, ain'tcha? :D

I was thinking of doing student council, just to help the two of them. But maybe I would want to get to know Misha, and become a friend of hers. Maybe she would open up to me more than she did Hisao. That would also be rewarding. I don't mind her PSL for Shizune, or even her artificial personality. But (like all the girls) I want to know the real Misha.

At the risk of being a complete creeper, I'd probably end up joining the Lilly club. Still, I'd prefer to actually talk to her than to stalk her...
