Katawa Shoujo is an unmitigated success in so many differend and unexpected ways that words fail me, but the feelings that I have inside me from following through the stories will make me smile, sigh, and cry in equal measure; and I'm eternally greatful to 4LS for giving me that gift.

This sentence is from a gamer magazine, in a review for a Korean VN (couldve been analogue dont remember) under the "if you liked this..." section KS was no1 with this caption

Hisao is a normal guy with a heart defect but he doesn't know he has a heart defect and as soon as he asks out his waifu he COLLAPSES AAAAA and then he stays in the hospital for a while and reads and goes to Yamaku and meets Misha who's obnoxious and Rin who is stumpy and Emi who is less stumpy and Lilly who is blind and Hanako who is crispy and Shizune who is deaf and/or mute and Kenji who is fucked up in the head and then the player makes a choice and goes on some routes and the game ends either with Kenji pushing Hisao off the roof or Hisao gittin' some or Hisao dying or one of the girls leaving Hisao.
