No real harm done, but for future reference, do note that thread necromancy is generally frowned upon around these parts.

Sorry, it just seems that most, if not all threads, are pretty much dead.

There's nothing inherently wrong with bumping old threads, it's just pointless if it's a question that has been answered or discussion that is long over. Neither applies here, since it's just a "LIST UR IDEA ON X" thread.
And even if it were bad, jumping in en masse and kneejerk complaining is just as bad. Okay?

I would argue that what makes it a bad necro is that it's a direct response to a post that isn't the original post and was made ages ago. This to me qualifies it as joining into a conversation after it's over rather than just re-addressing the original point of the thread.
