I could never really place it, but something always seemed a little off about Emi. She just didn't seem to fit, I suppose. I think this fixes that though, the more detailed and mature air brings her closer to the other girls.

Edit: But seriously, the main problem is that the artists joined long after the writers did. The Emi sprites are somewhat of a special circumstance, but nonetheless, it's very unlikely the second drafts of all paths would not be done a while before the art is finished.

The bitter irony here is that while the art is getting lifted, the artists are too busy to add porn to the Mishimmie.

Ah. I was under the assumption that the artists and writers had the same timeframe in which to work.

I'm adjusting to the new ones. I definitely think this is an improvement, but it's a little weird after being used to the other Emi. I look forward to seeing more.

It takes some adjusting and I like the original loli-bait look too, but I think it does work out better overall.

Don't like her new looks, but I wasn't really gonna aim for her right off the bat, anyway.

Seeing that I'm so used to the demo Emi, it'll take a little while to adjust, but I like the makeover and she looks more realistic now. I'm pretty sure it'll be an improvement in the long run and I hope this decision isn't gonna require you to redo too many CG's. A little request...you mentioned you're not gonna post more pics of Emi's new look, but seeing that you did update your site to reflect her overhaul...any chance to get Emi's Shimmie counter sprite updated too?

Like so many other people have said I am use to the old Emi. Since this version of her is more mature, perhaps they could just throw the younger looking version of her in like a flashback or something?

I don't think a flashback would work. The new sprite doesn't look older, just less cute.
