There probably would be O.o Besides which, I don't see any means one could use a lead pipe for to cause a heart attack... Other than a direct blow to the chest, cracking some ribs along the way too >_>

There are many uses for a lead pipe for the (wo)man with the creative mind. Some of which could, I guess, also cause a heart attack.
Better not to think about those, though.

Back on topic, seeing as Misha knows a little sign language before coming to school, perhaps it's more rather one of her parents went to Yamaku, while she herself is perfectly fine. Either because her daughter's already used to people with difficulties or because she wants her to get used to them.

Or Misha is a secret skilled secret service agent, using Shizune as her cover. She gathers evidence of Kenji's mental problems to throw him out of school. The Japanese government has their eyes on him for unraveling too much information of the matriarchy empire building up "underground"
