Oboi, when I left this thread 'bout 10 days ago, it had already degenerated into fece, but this is just something else entirely...

Not that I mind - this whole argument was shit to begin with, after all. Pitting two fandom darlings against eachother anywhere online is doomed to turn out disastrous.

Bottom line: Both characters are embodiments of certain flaws that many of us share or/and qualities that some of us exude, so maybe we should be reflecting upon the lessons that these particular characters learn in the game, rather than throwing poo at eachother because we've pathetically fallen in love with video game characters?

I have no clue what that's supposed to mean because inflection and sarcasm don't transfer well over the internet (obviously I should've thrown in a ~!1~!!!kawa1tw1l415h1 along with the interrobang), but if you can translate that mental image into an animated gif you may be able to get some serious karma whoring in over on reddit.
