im well aware XD I just liked the art, and I wondered where is came from. I knew it was a parody anyway. and when I found the game I was like "Demo? don't mind if I do!" and then I didn't go to bed until 6am twice XD

I remember someone saying something about KS, said it was well-made, and it looked cool, so I decided, "Why not?" I googled it, downloaded the game, and spent the next six hours of my life playing away.

I saw the VeryDemotivational poster.

...I'm just glad I joined the party late and didn't have to wait around for 3+ goddamn years like I did with Aching Dreams 2...and unlike that game, this one's free to boot.

When I'm bored I'll often just chill on TV Tropes reading random pages and one day last week KS came up. The concept sounded apalling at first, but the list of tropes assured me that it's being done for the art, the plot is the most important thing and that it's better than the project's origins would suggest. I gave it a shot, and was pleased to find that it's pretty great! By the way, this is my first VN experience period, so I have no real perspective with which to judge the actual quality, I just know that I really like the whole thing.

I found this through the tried and true method of a 4chan thread. Strangely enough, I'm all but certian it was on /tg/ and not /v/, as I remember people trying to stat the characters for D&D and Exalted. LAWL.

That's pretty much how you find most of the stuff on the internet.

Betting on 4chan or TVtropes. I actually knew of it for a year or two before I actually looked into it for reals and downloaded act 1.

I'm pretty sure i looked up the official site and downloaded the Act 1 demo soon after seeing some interesting art on Danbooru. Guessing it's been a year since then.

I read about KS 3 days ago on /v/, there was a thread going on about designing the best game ever.
Somebody trolled that 4chan community is a shithole that will never get anything done, and then one of the response to that was: "Actually those bastards at /a/ are making crippled hentai"

Crippled hentai, I thought, this must be some kind of a sick joke.

So after I played the game and reading into the characters I HNNNNNNG'ed.
I really don't know why I liked the characters so much.
They seem to be built out of anime cliches; shy girl who acts like a squirrel, tough girl with a soft side, my mother, etc.
If these personalities were put into any other generic school dating sim I wouldn't care less about them.
It's not their appearances either, I'd doubt crippled porn can be very hot.
Is it because I felt some sort of pity towards the characters? Because they act so normal regardless of having missing body parts?

After the finishing the game I got even more confused. So I started haunting the website, the blogs, and shimmies, and then eventually the forums.

Its funny I actually found one of those Demotivationals the one with Misha and Shizune telling Hiaso to take his pants off on Verydemotivational. Then I was like O.o Then I looked into it found out about KS and the rest as they say is history. Been in love with the story and characters ever since.

I came across it while searching for online hentai games. I don't remember what site I DLed it from but I found my way here from the link in the game manual.
