I appreciate you spunky. I tip my imaginary hat to you, and offer champagne. I suffer from planning everything as if it was going to take decades to come to fruitation, which is often true given my motivation issues. As such, while I completely agree with you that she could survive very well for a long period of time, she could not survive infinitely, which is how my brain works. I can make a revised list. But the original speaks for itself with the way I personally think about the situation.

Infinite Period of time: Akira > Mutou > Miki/Misha/Nurse/Yuuko > Shizune/Hanako/Kenji > Lilly/Emi/Rin > None

5-10 Years: Akira > Mutou > Miki/Misha/Nurse/Yuuko > Shizune/Hanako > Lilly/Emi/Rin/Kenji > None

3-4 Years: Akira/Mutou > Miki/Misha/Nurse/Yuuko/Emi > Shizune/Hanako > Lilly/Rin > None > Kenji

12 months - 3 Years: Hanako/Akira/Mutou > Miki/Misha/Nurse/Yuuko/Emi > Shizune/Lilly/Rin > None > Still none > Cannibals >Kenji

6 - 12 months: Hanako/Akira > Miki/Mutou/Nurse/Yuuko/Emi > Shizune/Lilly/Rin > None

1-6 Months: Hanako > Everyone not stated > Yuuko/Nurse/Lilly/Shizune > None

Ensured Survival (Hut and Garden pre-made) Hanako/Akira > Emi/Lilly/Shizune/Rin/MIki > Mutou/Nurse > Yuuko > None > Kenji

The positions change a little based on time and survivablity of the situation.

Glad it helped. These things are important in relation to the topic, but in all reality we're here to enjoy talking about something we like, and a top priority with that in mind is making sure nobody comes out of a topic feeling personally insulted over something so trivial in the grand scheme of things.

I like the varied time lists too, and can't say I disagree with them overall.

Hello everyone.

I will put my choices (because one answer in the poll isn't enough) here:

• Katawa Shoujo character: Emi (I only played her route, besides Rin's).
  Why ? There is that little something about her. And I would like to learn Japanese from her. And maybe more, if there is a pond with a waterfall in the jungle .
• Non VN character: Steve? from Minecraft. (Yes, he is called Steve?)
  Why ? He can get logs from trees with his bare hands, can make those logs into planks with his bare hands, can build a home for 10 persons with his bare hands, etc...
• Anime character: Millhiore Filianno Biscotti, from Dog Days and Dog Days Dash
  Why ? Watch the anime. She. Is. Cute. (Punctuated for emphasis). Also, when needed, she doesn't hesitate to get her hands dirty. You know what ? Add the pond + waterfall.

People that I wouldn't like with me on the island:

• Kenji
  Why ? For obvious reasons.
• (Non KS) Any Ancient of the Eternal Darkness
  Why ? For obvious reasons.

What objects I would like to have with me on the island:

• My guitar and amp
  Why ? All the (IRL) girls I know love someone who can play Oasis' Wonderwall or Metallica's Nothing Else Matters.
• My laptop
  Why ? To play Katawa Shoujo.
• A solar panel powerful enough to power the computer and the amp (though not at the same time)
  Why ? I will let you guess.

PLaying CAH with Emi, Nurse, Rin, and Akira would be very interesting. Sadly 3 of them died in a horrible plane crash.

I don't think that Rin is the kind to play a game like CAH, because, you know, she "isn't good with words".
Nurse and Emi are always cheerful (except when they are dead (no pun intended) serious), so yeah, why not ? However I don't know about Akira.
