Just got back from a weekend away and discovered that Spunky has single-handedly dropped the forum's userbase into a contest of who can count the highest number of fictional girls that are out of their league.

Resume conversation. I have my own legitimate thoughts on where I'd be, but I want to hold them off just a bit longer.

I probably wouldn't be able to do anything, in school I had a really crippling fear of girls, I grew up with three brother, me being the youngest, three male cousins between two of my mums brothers, and my mum didn't have a job and stayed at home full time so I didn't go to nursery (pre-school) so I really didn't get any interaction with girls within ten years of my own age until infants school. In fact, apart from my family I didn't socialise with anybody my own age until infants school so as you can guess I was always on edge around other kids.

As I grew up I didn't talk to anyone really, I was the kid fixed in his books at break time rather than playing football with the other kids. I think what made things worse was the fact that all my older brothers were the 'thugs' in school especially the one a year above me (let's call him john). John was always looking out at me in junior school, making sure nobody was picking on me, in fact he once beat up one of the popular kids and got excluded, just because he said that I was a, and I quote, rate weirdo. But while of course I'm thankful for his concern, it always intimidated other kids and I thing mabye that's why the other 'outcasts', so to speak, didn't approach me to do stuff with them (like pokemon cards and other geeky stuff I was really into.)

So I didn't really have a freind until year 5, and even then it was only a few kids who occasionally I met up with at lunch nothing like a best freind or anything. But when I actually went into year 6 my dad had to move because he got a better job in Nottingham, so of course we went with him. By this time there was no john looking over my shoulder and I was really shitting bricks, because I always read I had an image in my head on how the new kid always gets bullied, but I really couldn't have been further. This new school was a bit posher and it was a lot stricter, which really helped me a lot. It meant the kids weren't assholes and I only felt like an outcast for lunch period since break was in the classroom reading. It really helped me and at lunch people even started talking to me and I even made a few great freinds, one of which I work with, and his dads my boss.

But anyway I still wasn't exactly, sociable. I mean yeah I talked to a few kids at lunch but I never met up with them out of school until we started doing touch rugby in p.e, I tried it and was pretty good and the p.e teacher taught a local rugby team just a few miles from our school and asked if I was interested. I said yes and from there started making a few decent realationships outside school, but I still never met any out of rugby or school.

So by the time I entered big school, ( I think the yamaku equivalent) It was pretty much sport or bust for sociability as far as I was concerned. I still read and kept to myself a lot, but I started going on night runs with my brother john, we used to run a decent half mile there and back everynight(for any mathematicians that a mile a night). Other than that and rugby I never left the house apart from school.

So for me I think I'd have met hanako in the library, on several occasions at least. And with me being as shy as I was (and to a big extent still am) I think we would have at least been decent freinds, in fact I really think I'd have a lot in common with her, especially when I was that age. I'd have definatly have gone for hanako but the only thing that may upset that is the fact I had basically no social skills, so I bet there'd be a lot of silences and her making conversation than in the vn, but mabye that would end up better? If not worse. and I could have seen me changing my night runs for morning runs with emi and being running partners, especially with her joking attitude towards everything. I really thing that would have helped me come out my shell abit more and helped us become freinds.I don't think I'd want a lot more with emi, I think having a good friendship with her and mabye a romantic one with hanako would have been a best case scenario for me being how I was.

To be honest i'd be more interested in watching you guys struggle, and after you all fail i'll rip the rewards and add the Yamaku female population to my classical ottoman harem island.
