I know there's a popular fanfic regarding Akira, but I personally still have some trouble envisioning a real Akira route since it's stated in the game that Akira has a boyfriend with whom her bond is close enough to eventually invite him to migrate along with her in Lilly's route. I don't see Akira dragging Hisao off to Scotland. The guy's English is already piss-poor as it is. I'd hate to see how well he'd fare in a place where a nice little Highlands accent is also thrown in.

Also, I notice Natsume's on the list, but what about her neighbour Naomi? Unlike Natsume, Naomi actually has a role in KS even though she doesn't have a sprite.

Anyway, Miki would be nice for an additional route, as well as Misha...assuming she's bi and not lesbian.

I'm in agreement there. English is one of the more difficult languages for non-speakers (especially ones without a similar alphabet) to learn. The Highlands accent screws with people who can speak English fluently as well, I'd love to see Hisao struggling to understand it XD

They're both background characters/mentioned only. It's no surprise they don't have sprites.

Mou ikkai, Misha is not a lesbian, she's in love with a girl, and she's confused.

And I voted for Misha and Miki. Miki, from her short appearance in the novel, was slightly more tomboyish than anyone else. I'd like to watch her relationship with Hisao developing, considering the fact, that she seems to be highly irritated by a loss of her hand. And Misha is just plain awesome with her bright character and stuff.

As for the choices:
Miki is a given - not the least because I've yet to read a complete Miki route. Somehow they all never finish...
Akira is not really my type, but even if she were, I'd rather not read a route where you have to break up a relationship first to get the girl...
I really like Misha, but as she's in all probability lesbian, she's not really an option.

While Meiko is totally hot and also probably about my age, I'd totally pursue her irl, but it would be a bit weird to read that story from Hisao's PoV.
That leaves Natsume and Suzu... I chose Natsume, since I'm curious what 4LS would do with her character.
