I just did Rin's path and the H-scene made me angry. But I don't want to turn off adult-content 'cause I feel it won't be the same. So after reading this thread i found that there will be more shocking H-scenes. UGH!
Do all visual novels have H-scenes? I think they could have had complete story even without them. so why?

There are VNs without H-scenes, but in the case of KS, it being an eroge was part of the concept from its inception.
It's handled way better than in any other H-VN that I know - most of them are just cheap fap-material.

You got the bad end or what?
How can Rin's H-scene make anyone angry?
One is sad, but clearly fits the plot, the path wouldn't be the same without it, although I could understand it to leave a bad tastes if you get the bad end after, and the final one is basically where Rin starts to understand how Hisao loves her (or how to deal with that)
Or are you one of these people who dislike sex just on principle? You wouldn't be the first one to post here, but one has to wonder why you're playing an adult VN in the first place! (and even in this case, I still don't see the problem with Rin's path: one would have to have really strong defences against emotions to find any of her H-scenes arousing)

As Japs said it also..
Probably, these people are absorbed and realize as the protagonist in the game, that suddenly becomes vulnerable of what they feel like... it may also depends on a type of girl; like Hanako (well as we Asians, we like more romantic when dealing this kind of a girl, Idk about what aliens thinking), but Emi (If you've read/watch so much doujinshi/hentai, then this girl is okay with this game)

Could be that they just don't like
masturbation. A lot of people find it distasteful, or it goes against their religious or personal views. I assume that's the scene they're talking about, anyways, as the second H-scene was heartwarming and could never make someone angry. =/

lol....Even I'm a Christian.., I do that sometimes and nothing can't stop If I've watched a hentai/porn/something like that..
But this, I don't know actually. I kept on thinking why? Maybe its because of the continuing touching drama and romance then turned into porn...Well nobody likes that (I'm referring those people that seriously playing this game without no intention to masturbate., well I'm one of them).

Or it could be other way around. Happy sex people cofronted with emotional meaning, and internal distress underlaying the physical act.
Since true religious bigots of the kind you mentioned wouldn't stoop so low as to download and play an erotic game.

It basically means you're not Catholic (or not catholic enough), otherwise it's damaging your eternal soul.
I wonder what various branches of Muslims think about this kind of entertainment (I mean KS, not the M-word specifically)?
And still, reading text for 5-8 hours (or pressing repeatadly space for 1h) just to wank off to three pretty unimaginative (as internet standards go) pieces of drawn porn looks borderline kinky for me. /b/ standards notwithstanding.

I'm a Catholic, and I take offense on that. It's human nature, what can we do? It's like telling people to stop breathing because you will die later anyway. But true, there are religious bigots who judge a book by its cover and not its content or message.
(*do not take this part seriously or offensively in any matter)
If the girls of KS wears some kind of hijab, then any branches of Muslims will say "it's ok". Remove them, and they'll rage with posters and billboards saying 'this game is made for infidels and must BUUUUURRRRRRNNNN'

Well, I'm not a practitioning Roman Catholic anymore, but I haven't heard about any great doctrinal change lately, so I think the official view on the matters of premarital sex, masturbation and contraception is still clearly negative (never thought I will be conversing on this matter on KS forum, wow
), therefore KS or at least it's character's behaviour should be considered unapropriate and sinfull.
Warning! Roman Catholic spoiler:
On "selfindulgence" check this document, paragraph IX (sorry ;P).
I know the view of common parishioner may vary, but this kind of behaviour is formally considered sinfull, therefore requiring an absolution through confession, and for it to be effective, a true, strong will to improve by not commiting the sin again. No loophole there.
Edit: Ok, reading my last post together with this one again I see it might look like I suggested playing KS being a sin. It's not, if you see their sinfull ways I guess. They're heathen pagans/atheists/Shintoists (Kenji is probably a Pastafarian) and therefore doesn't know any better.

Not a first hand oppinion though, and seems just stereotyping for me. Still it might be true even for some progressive/liberal Muslim movements.
