This is seriously how it went, I Love total war as a game, Excellent Series, just got the Fall of the Samurai Expansion for Shogun 2, in fact.

Katawa Shoujo is a Visual Novel that purposefully sends you crashing through the wall of your pre/misconceptions; it can hurt like hell, but at least once you're through, the wall is broken and you come out as a better person because of it.

This is a morbidly publicised game of a shady genre about a taboo subject which turned out to be an emotional masterpiece.
After that, though, I went back to playing Minecraft, and Haven and Hearth.

I was convincing my brother to play the game, and at one point he said "So it's basically like a choose-your-own adventure Goosebumps book, but instead of spooky monsters there's disabled girls that you fall in love with?"
I had to agree that that was pretty accurate.

Katawa Shoujo shows that disabilities aren't purely physical and it shows that you can move forward no matter how bad or unfortunate it gets.
