That didnt help me at all.
Why walk into the sea damnit. Drowning seems like such a horrible death. She could have given herself hypothermia, or done it some other way. Drowning at sea, no, that was just a horrible way for it to happen. Hell she dosent just die painfully, she dies alone too. God why do that.

The Scarlet Letter, no doubt. One of the few books I very truly enjoyed annotating for high school. Even if I did a half assed job at it. I remember, everyone in class would insult Dimmesdale about how weak and cowardly he was while we would discuss the book. I didn't speak out against it, because even the teacher agreed with them. Also really liked Hester for a bit.
Several parts of Evangelion, mostly on the last half, seeing all the characters slowly just stoop lower and lower...
While not the same idea, Welcome to the NHK, both the manga and anime left some impressions on me. The story was supposed to be funny, but a whole lot of it just terrified me.

TotesMcGotes wrote:OP, you don't need to call it "The Feels". Just "feels". In fact you don't even need quotation marks.
It helps me feel ironic and above it all if I have quotes and refer to it as a proper noun.

I agree with a lot of what's already been listed, but I'd like to add the anime: Bokurano.

I would say the beginning of Up. Too much feels for a children's movie.
And the extended "Omaha" speech from the PS3/Michael commercial.

Brother!
When I first watched True Tears I went through a lot of feelings, Part of the problem is I don't know if I'm on the right track. I was pretty upset when Gandalf died.... I'm going to stop now.

Although I'm not done with Rin's route yet, so far it's giving me the same feels as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (my favorite movie for life), but it would be hard to put my finger on exactly why.

Literally 'We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day'
Anyway this anime had me crying by the end of it, it was so sad, sweet, tense, other emotions I can't remember I felt that day I watched the final episode, I highly recommend it. Not sure I had 'the feels' or if I was straight up crying, but it's a very heart warming anime
Yup, Anohana is definitely one of the most succesfully emotional anime of the last few years.
The anime film Summer Wars was pretty strong too.
Japanese live action films: if you haven't watched it yet, watch Okuribito (Departures). The entire film is made of feels.
Music , hmmm, first number that comes to mind is Thirteen by Big Star. Also, hearing Vincent (Starry Starry Night) by Don Mclean minutes after finishing Rin's route was quite...

Reading some of your entries reminded me of a few others.
1. The final scene of Saving Private Ryan.
2. It's not exactly a good feel, but realizing what was actually going on in "Narutaru" was definitely a shocking experience.
3. Band of Brothers gave me some feels, but the most powerful emotional moment came in the special edition of "Band of Brothers/The Pacific" documentary, "He Has Seen War," talking about the lives of the veterans when they came home. "My wife has predeceased me, but I am still married to her, and I will be until the day I die."
4. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Amongst all the badassery and hot blooded action is a surprisingly touching moment when Simon is recounting the tale of the time he and a few others were stuck in a cave-in, and Kamina kept their spirits up by telling jokes and giving them hope. The real impact comes in the next episode, when we find out that Kamina talked about that moment with Yoko, and revealed that he was, in fact, terrified the whole time and couldn't think of anything to do but tell jokes. Simon, however, never stopped digging, even when everything seemed hopeless, and got them out. It's an incredibly touching moment, and the first indication that Simon, who up till then has been a bit of a whiny brat, will eventually surpass his "big brother."
Thankfully, when I've had enough catharsis, I have the perfect antidote:
"Yotsuba&!": aka "The Adventures of the Happiest Little Girl In The World." Try to stay unhappy after reading this. I dare you.

Dear God...that was such a horribly depressing movie. The tears were welling up inside when I went and saw that movie in the theatre.

These too... incredibly sad.

G Senjou No Maou
After going through so much shit, even getting a happy ending Maou comes back to fuck with the couple, his last attempt to ruin Haru's life. Main guy takes the fall and gets a seven year sentence. A letter is sent to the couple's mutual friend stating that he should take good care of Haru and make her a happy woman. Every single friend shows up before he goes to jail asking why he is doing this, how great of a person he is, and some confessing their love to him. Seven years pass and they throw him out on the street. Feeling lost and alone a woman with a child walks up to him. It's haru. Main guy, thinking that she got along well with the mutual friend, thinks how cute the daughter is. That's where my heart sank, at the point, thinking that she moved on. She says it's his daughter (with an extra topping of denial too) and they walk off together. Good thing he didn't wear a condom at that time, though?
