mh, good idea do a look of this...Worthington wrote:I think you people are mistaking homosexuality for ennui. Kenji felt the strange boredom and restless content, along with physical fatigue, after intercourse and didn't expect it. He only ever said it made him feel "tired", not that his "life was sucked out".
"Do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk, ice cream? Ice cream, Mandrake? Children's ice cream!...You know when fluoridation began?...1946. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual, and certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works. I first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love... Yes, a profound sense of fatigue, a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I — I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women, er, women sense my power, and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women, Mandrake...but I do deny them my essence."

yes, obviously the phrase said for Kenji comes from this quote (and the ice cream?) but this movie have lots of freudian puns, like this quote and other things (the names of some characters are...funny) and Kenji said (textual from the game):
"i was more innocent back then, and i thougth she was sane, unlike most woman. But then one day,we engaged in...sexual intercourse. It was pretty okey, but then immediately following the event that is the point of all such things, something strange and scary happened.() I started feeling incredibly tired and sleepy! that isn´t normal, man! what the f***? I mean, normally, that would be a high-tension,adrenaline-pumping moment of anyone´s life, but my energy levels were dropping like a brick! Something sinester was in the works, i could feel it.That is when i knew...that woman are dangerous, sapping the life force of all man through the one commodity that is almost solery theirs to control! Sickering. Yeah, you´re better off, dude..."
um maybe we was wrong in this point...is fun do crazy theories.
But called me my atencion how he descrived the event."pretty okey" what? was his first time! and is very cold, sound almost ironic. He saw the movie and tried to said something more important with that?
we never knows.
fun fact: part of the ost of The Deep End alias "The Manly Picnic" scene is Shadow of the Truth ( who starts when Kenji said his first shocking event of his life...)
