This is also true of the people assuming she has a disability. It's been explicitly stated that Yamaku isn't only for disabled students.

Damn that short text explained a lot.
Shizune's path shows that it's not that cut and dried, though.
We see her displaying attraction toward persons of both sexes, though only one of each (Shizune and Hisao). Clearly she's not on either endpoint of the scale, but that's all we can be sure of. She might be bi, or she might just have occasional exceptions to her typical orientation: perhaps even only the one. In this later case, the game doesn't give much of a way to tell which is the exception and which is typical.

In one of those cases I wouldn't call that "attraction"...

Whether or not Misha is gay/bi might be moot if you take the good ending for Shizune. Misha wants to teach sign and in the good ending your character decides he wants to teach at the school... So technically after graduation and Shizune goes into business you could possibly end up with Misha... I know she says she's going overseas but she could change her mind and stay with you too... Though the thing that I find sad is that while Misha displays some feelings toward you, likely out of desperation, and if you dont take advantage of her situation she might not ever try again even though like I was speculating before you two might end up teaching at that school next year. Plus in Shizune's bad ending Shizune takes responsibility for "using Misha for 2 years and jerking you around for one for her selfishness"... The middle of Shizune's path makes me feel horrible because I feel like Im coming between 2 friends. Right up until the good ending for Shizune... when we all go our separate ways after Shizune and I have had sex (unprotected too) twice and are just getting to the point where we are finally connecting... Which kinda does make me feel used and I can sympathize with Misha... Honestly makes me wish I could just romance Misha from the start

What? care to explain the Konami code thing? Or are you joking?

I'd say that Hisao is the exception. While they're having sex, Misha says, "This is my first time with a man. It's weird."

Well, the thing is, it could also just be her first time having sex with a guy, even though she's attracted to them.

I guess sexuality doesn't work that way... But I still think it would be nice a path where you aim at her, but in the middle you find out/she tells you that she isn't into guys them you would have to stand up and go on (or insist and get a bad ending)
Well, while the sexuality doesn't change, Misha is what, 17 or 18 years old? At that age she could still not be totally sure about her own, and find out that she likes guys, too, I think. (or just be that way from the start, just fall for Shizune first)
I actually know someone like that - she thought herself as lesbian, with falling for a girl etc., then later fell for a guy, and got into relationship with him.
As for Hisao/Misha fanfic, there's one, actually.
You can find it there: http://ks.renai.us/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=4955
Short warning though, it's not happily themed, goes between sad and bittersweet, imo.

Actually there are probably almost a dozen, one of them by me.
I agree that this one is one of the best, though.

I've played through a few times, have only had the good endings so far (by intention) except for the No-Romance death ending (which I found perfectly hilarious, perfectly awful).
So far, Lilly's been my favorite.
I came here desperately hoping to find a Misha path....T_T
Too bad! I still love her, though. I'll have to see what changes after finishing Shizune's paths.
Edit: Sorry for the thread necromancy >_<

'tis fine. Afaik, in this forum, thread necromancy isn't frowned upon.
There's a number of Misha Route fanfics in the Fan Fiction subforum , but the best one I ever read is being made by ProfAllister. Here it is.

Well, I wish. I took a liking to Misha the first time I played; although I thought she was really annoying. I was kinda shocked when I learned that she was a lesbian. Reminds me of this video! DON'T WATCH IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED SHIZUNE'S ROUTE!

For those not aware: it's an unwritten custom in Japan for a girl to cut her hair if a relationship or quest for a relationship has gone bad. In this case, Misha lost a chance at Shizune's love.
Which is yet another reason I'm sad there are no Harem endings. Misha's hair justifies everything, dammit!
Wow. I had no ide this was a thing in Japan. When I found out she cut her hair i thougt it looked cute. This adds a whole new layer of feeling!
