Hey, guess what? We get the full release first. All of the other translation teams have to wait for the full release to even begin translation work.
You know what...I'll take it.

Besides, it's not like the Dev team are printing the booklets themselves. The Japanese translation team is doing so. Can you imagine printing out a bunch of katawa shoujo art at your local kinko's? If you're in america, you'd probably get arrested because people who incorrectly assume it's child porn.

Dear devs, to spare yourselves a constant stream of whining and moaning, I strongly suggest you avoid posting anything at all on the blog until the game release. Good luck.

A small chance of getting your hands on a digital copy is far more acceptable than no chance at getting anything at all.
If you guys wanna whine, do it subtly not blatantly. Like me.
Anyway, good to hear more KS related content is being released. There's never enough content for any fan.

Oh, how much I would love a copy....
That said, congrats guys. Nice to know that the word is getting out so well.
Though I suppose that it really shouldn't be all that surprising that a game as awesome as this is getting so popular, huh?

What's with all the complaining about the art book, Japan gets the game a good while after we do, so they deserve something, and its made for getting new people into the game, not keeping the old ones happy until the game is released. Yes, it is slightly disappointing we don't get it, but how often do we get a a great VN before Japan does.
And besides, you guys actually complaining about this not being a Game release announcement, I'd like to see you idiots make a game for free for four years, and then get genuine praise for making said free game, not just from English speaking countries, but from other countries as well. Did I mention it was free, as in you don't pay for it, meaning you have no right to complain.
As for the rest of the peeps who aren't genuinely moaning about the release (well, not as a joke anyway) sorry for my wee rant.

I laughed so hard upon seeing the wall of QQ. It just seemed so similar to when the beta of KoToR was about to be out where they had to shutdown the forums and chatboxes because all there was, was slander, rage, and crying about the release or random miscellaneously trivial things.

Yeah, but I really want to buy it. Chances are some copies of this artbook will end up on ebay or some doujinshi reseller, that wouldn't be bad, but "Official Katawa Shoujo Shop"? That would be awesome.

Perhaps having digital versions of the art books available for download after the game's release would be good idea.

So cool, if anyone can get their hands on a copy I would gladly pay shipping and some extra for the book and their troubles. Living in Idaho I have no hopes of getting this lol.

Ah, the silver lining!
I do want the fanbook, but getting the finished project first is way better! ^.^

Fellating the devs on the forums wont make the game come out any sooner, especially not if you encourage this kind of
inactivity from them.

Because telling people not to do stuff will make them do it, and telling people to do stuff will make them no do it. Right. You're not too bright, are you?
Also, you must be new to the internet. Selfishness is the name of the game here. Maybe you should come back in a year or two. Maybe when you're old enough to understand human nature. When we want something, we try to get it. It's not complicated.
Great jerb on that quoting by the way. Masterful and quite indicative of your intelligence.
