The Shizune one is interesting. I wouldn't write it that way but that is my preference

The first one is actually pretty adorable, but maybe that's because it seems to me more like Hisao just being hyper-aware of Rin, rather than particularly fixated on her hair. The others not so much, obviously.

I actually liked Shizune's vignette. I guess I'm kind of a minor masochist, but I always found the idea of a girl in socks stepping on me appealing. Despite this, I still like Emi, but as a friend.

You can actually see Hisao's (or maybe Aura's...) descent into madness in these shorts. First, it's cute and mostly innocent (the first two). Then it gets kinda freaky (the third), and then downright disturbing (the fourth), finally reaching cold-blooded torture with toxic insects and power tools.

Reminds me of that one game...what's it called? Eversion, I think.

Well, the one with Hanako is somehow disturbing but I really loved the final lines where Hisao finally steps back and almost cries; not from remorse but from having achieved such wonderful masterpiece.

Hours later I stand back, taking a full look at her saliva-covered body. There must be literally liters of my spit on her. The sight almost makes me cry. It's beautiful. It's perfect.

Damn, I know this is wrong but I really liked Aura's post!

In the olden days we actually had to click on links if we wanted to see anything.
Sometimes I miss those times...

I think I saw someone ask how this could be away to hash out the writing for H-Scenes, and I'll try to answer; It's an exercise in extremes.

If you start by thinking about something as it would go in a mundane kind of way, the writing will end up being rather mundane. However, if you allow yourself to draft a scene in it's complete extremes prior to writing the actual scene, it can give you insight on where to twist the mundane scene such that it's exciting to read, rather than feeling as though it's been cut and pasted from a romance novel.

The key example is the BDSM scene with Shizune. It's blaringly extreme and almost unbelievable, but really isn't completely outside the realm of possibility where the two characters are concerned. If you look at the completed, council room H-scene in the finished game, there are echoes of that BDSM flavor in the toned-down scene that make it vastly more interesting to read without being mundane or jarring.

Basically, what I'm saying is, that thinking about the characters in vast extremes - even writing drafts in those extremes - can improve the quality of your completed work.
