The Shimmie is not a place to dump some art but it is a place where ideas and figments of imagination, that should amuse us or should be appreciated and bewildered, are shown.
It's a place where the artists wants to share his imagination and his "love" whether it be of the character or of art itself.

I never thought of it that way. That is a nice way of putting it. Thank you. I'm not sure why I'm saying "thanks," but it seemed in order. It is good to know that even something like rape can have love (just kidding).

Fun Fact about the shimmie: There are 109 parody images in the shimmie; two of them are DBZ related. Also, one of them has a very scared Hanako being seduced by a tank from the popular FPS game "Left 4 Dead."

Edited addendum: Oh hey, it is Mr. VCR himself (though I hear that Mr. Blueray is a better artist). It would be ironic if he did a Molly close-up now, even though I was hoping for Hisao first. I just know it'll be one of him going a certain onomatopoeia...

Not shimmie related, but I googled burn scars and clicked on the images. I was surprised to find that one of the very top images in a web match was Katawa Shoujo related. My obsession is gaining more and more popularity .
