I'd believe it, if it weren't so unbelievable.

Afternoon. As always it's meant to be listened on a loop, etc.
Enjoy.

Nice loop. It repeats cleanly. Good melody, though the main instrument is a tad overbearing. Not sure which one it was even in the original piece aside from it was a wind instrument.

I liked it, Nocturne was also a good one.

Time for akazaji's brutal critique on: Painful History

I believe it was your use of the drum that killed the sadness of the song. Your use of the drum took away from the focus on the piano, which is the driving force of the emotion laced in the piece.

Your drum consisted of a vastly faster tempo than the original(which had no drum), which eliminated the long pauses that helped to emphasize the melancholic ambience(courtesy of synths in the original). Using FL studio, you could have included some synths of your own for ambience or thrown in a violin or cello for a background effect.

Lastly and most importantly, I cannot get the image out of my head of a person slamming their fingers down on the keys when i listen to your version. there is no variation in note strength. All of your notes cut off somewhat crisply which coupled with the increased beat gives the melody an almost cheerfull feel to it. The original version is played slowly, softly, sadly, as though the player themselves felt the pain of the melody.

Interesting threatening "city at night" spin on it.

I didn't bother with the other songs but Parity has a few people on Audiosurf who've played it :o

I have to agree, Parity would be a good Rin's theme and not to mention quite a good beat to it.

Almost better than the originals, good stuff! Actually, I prefer you version of Painful History to the original.
