Damnit, this thing again.

There's actually some elements of how Hanako would handle the aftermath of cheating on Hisao, that I think are in character (including her suicide attempt)... but her cheating on him in the first place (or being far enough out of her shell to do it) is quite a bit harder to see.

Now, I could also see her blaming herself to this extent for getting raped, especially if she was drugged and didn't remember what happened, just figured some things out after the fact. That would actually make the story somewhat plausible. But, the storyline would have to change, and it'd have to rely on Hanako not sharing her suspicions that she was raped (she's not stupid, she'd figure it out, but she would consider it cheating out of guilt), and Hisao figuring out what she was leaving out.

I actually find Doomish's incomplete story of how Hanako was SOLD INTO SEX SLAVERY after her bad end more believable.

I don't know why I bothered to do through all of that- actually no, I do: simply for imagining your reaction to thinking "Why did some guy on the internet bother going though all of that?"


Now about the story: Well-written but my god was it depressing.

Though not charged, I am equally guilty. I think around episode 12 I noticed the KS vids were popping up in my subscription box and I watched 4-5. After getting an idea of what the VN was, I downloaded it and haven't looked back. I watched him finish the series (er, nix Kenji end) about a week ago, first time I had watched one in months XD

Anyway, yeah. Good stuff.

Not everything is about you. The forums aren't just a place for you to shoot the shit. There is an expectation that you'll contribute meaningfully to a discussion. Your conduct in this thread is basically the exact opposite of that.

I saw the word Hanako and I expected something uplifting, so I decided to read it because I was in a bad mood. Why the everfucking hell didn't I stop as soon as I got to the part where he reads the note?

Bringing it back, because links and also holy fuck so many emotions. I feel mad and angry and sad and depressed and happy and . . . . .
Words don't quite make the stretch.
I'm not at all sure why i didn't stop reading after the whole "I cheated on you Hisao" bit because I was breaking down mentally at that point but I kept going and had my mouse on the close button but I kept going and fell into some serious depression. If this wasn't so damn well written I might be better off but you can really get your characters down, its crazy. Never though I could ever recapture that original feeling of happy and sad that i got when I ran through the Hanako route for the first time. In conclusion, I love you.
P.S. I hate you with a burning passion.

If this fic had ended with Hanako's suicide, my heart would have been crushed. Amazing fic btw.

I feel heavily like this is a situation where you still wouldn't accept the girl. I mean shit, it may be fiction and all, but Hisao needs to be a man about this sort of thing.

Ten years later I bump this thread so future generations may see this.

I actually enjoyed the writing. Also, you need some Russian proverb to fully understand Hisao's actions.
