Well, friendship is magic, after all...Fiandra wrote:Maybe it doesExbando wrote: You lucky little...It must have something to do with those ponies of yours...
Your perfect partner does not exist because perfection does not exist. What you view as perfection, everyone else on the planet may view as imperfection or vice versa. It is a philosophically impossible concept, to say nothing of the sheer odds against anyone ever meeting anyone else's standard of perfection. If you seek a perfect partner, you will find no one. And if you did against all logic find perfection, one or the other of you would grow bored and the relationship would stagnate and die. Ironically, the closest thing to perfection can only be found in that which is flawed.pandaphil wrote:They say there's someone for everybody out there. Because perfection belongs to GO- Heh, who am I kiddingXanatos wrote: Your perfect partner does not exist because perfection does not exist.
That's why I prefer the term "ideal." That being said, my ideal partner is probably in the Arctic or something...Xanatos wrote:Your perfect partner does not exist because perfection does not exist.
Everyone, including him. Perfection is a state of complete flawlessness. And given that what constitutes a flaw is subjective and ever-changing, perfection is impossible both objectively (as everyone else will find flaws even if he doesn't) and subjectively (as him finding someone he considers flawless is...Well, utterly impossible). "Ideal" is a good word though.Kitsune Spirit wrote:who's to say that shes not perfect but him?
...yeah probably...I should probably go out and meet some girls, though, just on the off chance that this isn't the case.Xanatos wrote:@Exbando: ...Your ideal partner is the Coca Cola polar bear? Badass.
My girlfriend often tells me that I am 'perfect in my imperfection,' to which I in turn tell her that makes no sense.Xanatos wrote:Your perfect partner does not exist because perfection does not exist.
