...Well, that's a whole new layer of sad to that song now. D:

I am not a real big fan of nickleback or twilight, so I was surprised to see each combine so well with KS:
Also, anything from the Denpa Onna sound track.
That anime has some serious KS parallels.

This song reminds me of Rin definitely..About being misunderstood, can't explain things, and not wanting to change. Made me kinda smile when I realized that. (And I love the band...)
so I hope ya guys like it!

I got two songs that just instantly popped into my head while playing specific routes, and I think they fit perfectly
A Misha 'theme' I think this one fits Shizune's route so well lyrically!
A Rin 'theme'
'She said: Baby I could never leave you, how can I believe you when you can't believe your luck? No point sticking to the plan when it's come unstuck...
What I haven't been able to stop listening to since I began playing KS.

I got my hands on new Tankian's album, and this song reminds me a lot from Lilly's route:

Yeah, i don't know about you but after System of a Down broke up and Tankian cast his lot in with those disgusting bastards at PETA, i was done with him. I'm all for animal rights but PETA isn't an animal rights group, for the most part it's a brace of attention whores who don't give two shits about animal rights or people who think domestic breeds should be wiped out, ethics violations and animal cruelty charges have been filed against PETA multiple times and at one point they actually boasted that PETA shelters kill more animals than most pounds. Honestly i would have viewed Tankian in better light if he just did what all past their prime celebrities did and joined a cult.

I know. But when it comes to music I really don't look into what the musicians are doing' as long their music is good. I can disagree with his personal beliefs etc. but I'm an amateur musician myself, and when I hear a piece like this, my ears are happy. And if you listen to lyrics closely, it touches everything in Lilly's route really, that's why I posted it here.
So, I'm not really into his 'fight system and everyone else' politics, and I agree that PETA is just as hypocritical as most of goverments these days.

So, everyone knows of that "stop.wmv" video that details the infamous choice of Comforting Misha, right? The song "Stop!" is a song from late hip-hop artist "J.Dilla" of course but what I did not know was that it was actually a sample of Dionne Warwick's "You're Gonna Need Me" (
Listening to the original source of "Stop", "You're Gonna Need Me" fits the conflicting love triangle of Misha, Shizune, and Hisao perfectly once you listen to the lyrics
Mmmm you're gonna want me back in your arms
You're gonna need me, one day
You're gonna want me back in your arms
You're gonna need me
One day
You're gonna want me back in your arms.
You're gonna wake up when time has taken your throne
You'll taste the bitterness of being alone
There's no splendor in the darkness of night
When there's no loving arms to hold you tight
(you better stop, and think about what you're doing)
Mmm give a little back
Of what you've been taking
Better start being for real and stop your faking
You better prepare yourself for that rainy day
You better throw a little tenderness and affection my way
You're gonna need me
Need me one day
You're gonna want me back in your arms
Tell me who's gonna take the heartbreak i took
And still be there at the close of the book
When you've grown older and lost your way
And all your rainbows have turned to gray
Mmm give a little back
Of what you've been taking
Better start being for real and stop your faking
You better prepare yourself for that rainy day
You better throw a little tenderness and affection my way

I wrote it in another post about music and KS, but I will put lyrics here. This reminds me totally about Lilly's path (my favourite one). When we treat Lilly as "silence" here, then it fits just perfectly.
I know who you are
I know who you are not
I know who you are
I, I know who you are not
The silence is deafening to my ears
How could the obvious be ignored?
The silence is threatening when she appears
The ceremony is performed
I'm here to paint you with my tears
Decried my spirit over my fears
I can't walk away from all the years
Serene inside, she disappears
Ends of my mind, my thoughts trembling
The hands of time, time always meddling
The silence is deafening to my ears
How could the obvious be ignored?
The silence is threatening that she appears
The ceremony is performed
I'm here to paint you with my tears
Decried my spirit over my fears
I can't walk away from all the years
Serene inside, she disappears
Nightlights are for children,
Morning is for adults
Know the egalitarian equinox
The hands of my mind, my thoughts trembling
The hands of time, time always meddling
Silence is deafening to my ears
How could the obvious be ignored?
The silence is threatening when she appears
The ceremony will always be performed
The silence is deafening to my ears
Seized by the impressions of passers in the night
I'm here to paint you with my tears
Decried my spirit over my fears
I can't walk away from all the years
Serene inside, she disappears
I'm here to paint you with my tears
Decried my spirit over my fears
I can't walk away from all the years
Serene inside, she reappears
I know who you are.
"Deafening silence" Serj Tankian

Sonata 331 / K331 and its variations I think fit quite well with in the feel of the soundtrack,

I didn't go though all 11 pages of this topic and I don't intend to. But in the first and last pages I didn't notice the only music that does remind me of KS, so I guess I'll be postin anyway...
I guess it sort of reminds me of the KS music and calls forth similar feels.
These two also happen to be music I play, so that probably plays it's part too.

Rin to a T.
"I can't seem to think straight
I sit in the corner
No on can bother me
I think I should speak now
I can't seem to speak now
My words won't come out right
I feel like I'm drowning"
