Depending on how thick the blade of the rapier is, it is far more likely to be used as a whipping weapon to inflict mostly superficial wounds. That's another fetish for those Mishas on the Shimmie who are into Sadism and Masochism.

Whenever anyone mentions whipping I think of that scene from Starship Troopers.

I think Shizune would look sexy in a Federation officer's uniform.
