Emi is supposed to have "WITH SCIENCE" as the zinger. It's unexpected, and thus more humorous. Imagine her saying it in a declarative boom while pointing straight up.

The pun is the entire phrase "blinded you with science," because Lilly is blind. I know the song goes "WITH SCIENCE" heavily emphasized, but that doesn't make any sense as a joke, because that is not the focal point of the pun.

'Cept it _was_ the focal point, or at least seems to be. Whether or not you believe it humorous as such is your call, but I certainly thought it was written as intended when I read it.

Hmmm, if I was writing it myself I'd have put "Blinded you with science" in panel 3, but find the way it was done is still funny. Getting worried about a certain format is too much for me. It isn't like I'm trying to translate them to a foreign language or anything.

I can't believe no one ever thought of this, even though it's lame among the world of lames.
