I remember that episode very well - the most memorable lesson for me was to remember to look at and address the person, not the interpreter (Riva yells this at Picard)

Reading that, I'm reminded that he wouldn't write things down. Shizune had a similar but not as extreme reluctance.

Something I just been wondering about...I know Rika and Saki Are just April Fools Day DLC Joke Characters but they seem to have their fans. I know Raki has her own full KS Route FanFic which I been meaning to read soon.

But has anyone done anything for Saki?

Yes. For example, 'Learning to Fly' by Eurobeatjester is quite well-known.
You'll find a very different Saki in themocaw's route (completed by SemisoftCheese) here.
There are more (I think perhaps shorter) examples in the Fanfic section's 'Library' stickie.
