Music can indeed touch the soul. Words or not.
This one. It just reaches out and touches you, soothes and caresses you.
Yep. I like my music like I like my coffee. Thick, sludgy, and gritty.

(classical tunage)
Truly beautiful.
I took a semester of music fundamentals and appreciation, and this was ALL I listened to for a long time. Yeah, classical is where it's at. Doesn't get much more metal, yanno?

Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony is heart-crushing and beautiful. Other great, emotionally charged works I've listened to recently are Mahler's 2nd Symphony and Brahms' 2nd Piano Concerto.

Listen to this song, pay attention to the lyrics. I dare you to not at least tear up. It was everything I could do not to break down into a sobbing mess.
Its an english cover of Ichiban No Takaramono from Angel Beats, the song that played when Yui disappeared. It was emotional when I heard it in the anime, but being able to hear it in English when done so well, when I could just listen it it without having to pay attention to the show, especially watching the images the artist used its... overwhelming, to say the least. If you've had, or have someone in your life that you felt deep, seemingly endless romantic love for, this song will strike a chord with you.

This might be slightly embarrising to say, but the anime Koy Koy seven. I'm not that big of an anime person, but this show (originally designed for its on-the-verge-of-porn attraction) had a pretty emotional effect on me. Mostly the fact that a whole bunch of shit happened to some random school kid who is forced to go to an all girls school and live with 7 cyborg girls. I laughed, I cried, then I said "why the fuck am I watching this?" and stopped. lucky me they cancelled it because one episode had a seen that was practically child porn (according to the tv producers) and it was cancelled. Just want to make something clear though, I watched it for the plot.
Other then that, the only thing that really affected me was the end of Halo 3 and the regeneration of the tenth doctor (David Tennant) on doctor who. I cried like a baby. ( watch it yourself if you dare) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzYJkCHppRc <not original music so not as emotional, the original song was called Vale Decem

Sad, manly-tear feels: The Land Before Time, Five Centimeters per Second, Haibane-Renmei, the song Hikari no Senritsu (which is Sora no Woto's opening theme), the song Servante du Feu from Sora no Woto.
Warm, fuzzy feels: Haibane-Renmei (for the first parts), Haibane-Renmei's opening theme (Free Bird by Kou Otani), Morita-san wa Mukuchi, Aoi Hana, Lovely Complex perhaps, Sora no Woto.
Also, for reference -
Hikari no Senritsu by Kalafina
Servante du Feu by Michiru Oshima (vocals by Matthieu Ladouce)
Edit: meh, apparently no direct youtube here. Just click, will ya? It's worth it.

The STALKER movie from 1979, that's based on the novel "Roadside Picnic" by the Strugatsky brothers.
I yet must see the rest of Andrei Tarkovsky's films but they look promising.

I've never seen Angel Beats before, but that song seems really touching. I don't have a context to feel though, so i'm not as emotionally invested into as you are.
This is a song called Stay by the late Nujabes ft. Fat Jon, from the soundtrack to Samurai Champloo. All instrumental...and beautiful. In the context of the show, the passing of Nujabes and the fact that i think of the death of a loved one, and also KS (Reminds me of Rin although i never played her path) , it ALWAYS leaves me in a deep contemplative state. Heavy Feels!

I would want nothing else

Goddamnit, why did you bring those feels back? And I was so idiotic to play it just after I woke up.
Thanks so much, man. Now I gotta drown it with the moeblob called Morita Mayu! And maybe some Haibane-Renmei (the first parts of the series in any case).
