Re: Blooper Reel
I wonder how many get the Nasu reference
By the way, I took that photo myself. It was indeed a nice boat, and with a friendly crew and fellow passengers. I met some Japanese and Americans aboard.

It's not really Nasu unless the marine comparisons are sexual in nature, but it's awesome nonetheless.

Re: Blooper Reel
Kinoku Nasu was one of the co-founders of Type-Moon, the team that produced such famed visual novels as Tsukihime and Fate/stay night. As the team's writer, he has since become famous for the so-called "Nasuverse" in which his stories take place.trekki859 wrote:i dont get it...
However, most of Type-Moon's works were eroges, and Nasu's... interesting sex scenes have become legendary. Most notoriously, the man frikken' loves his seafood metaphors.
The series of bloopers in question are done in a parody of his distinctive writing style.

Snicket, don't take this the wrong way, but...
GOD FUCKING DAMNIT, THE JOKE IS OLD. IT'S NOT FUNNY. THE CAKE IS NOT A DAMN LIE; IT'S FUCKING IN FRONT OF YOU. FUCKING GOD, IT WASN'T THAT FUNNY WHEN PORTAL WAS RELEASED, AND IT'S NOT FUNNY NOW. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ON A POGO STICK ANYBODY WHO THINK "DA CAEK IS A LIE DUURHUUR LOLOL" SHOULD BE BEATEN, RAPED, AND KILLED "AMERICAN GANGSTER" INTRO STYLE.
Other then that, you have a Ive instead of a I've in the first picture.

Re: Blooper Reel
Everything in techk8's post about the joke being dead now is seconded, though I disagree about it not being hilarious in the game itself. The first image in that post is win, though.
Trekki859, this may help explain part of that reel and abscess can probably fill you in on the rest.

Re: Blooper Reel
Hey, chill out, man. This is the internet, jokes won't die because you yell at them. Actually, that makes them flare up because people realize they can get a reaction out of people like you. Just laugh and let it be.techk8 wrote:Angry rant.
Otherwise, great work Snicket. Good to see you back makin' these.
