People just have different styles. The way I draw Rin personally differs from her canon depictions because I can't draw in that style, so I just draw her how I can. You can still tell it's Rin, she just looks like she belongs in another realm.SpunkySix wrote:How does Emi manage to always be adorable, even when she's being shmexy?
Also, I like that RIn a lot because it's one of the few noncanon pictures where she looks like her actual self, yet is still portrayed as being really pretty. It kind of bothers me a little when artists change her too much for fan service. The pictures look nice and I like them in a general sense, they just aren't her enough.

Because Rin lacks of sex appeal, it's why she is not drawn in the fan-art like her official art.
While Lilly, Hanako and Emi don't need to be drawn differently.

I can look past that, and find beauty in her nubs.Munchenhausen wrote:Hey, if you find a congenital loss of arms sexually attractive, I ain't here to stand in your wayKeiichiO wrote:Says you.Zarys wrote:Because Rin lacks of sex appeal,

I certainly wasn't expecting that sentence to end like it did.KeiichiO wrote: I can look past that, and find beauty in her nubs.

I prefer the term armbits. It is a more armbitious use of language.Munchenhausen wrote:I certainly wasn't expecting that sentence to end like it did.KeiichiO wrote: I can look past that, and find beauty in her nubs.

Post-Yamaku, what happens? After The Dream is a mosaic that follows everyone to the (sometimes) bitter end.

It definitely isn't the arms... I find her sexy (I haven't played her route yet) but I think that this sprite gives away that she does have curves.Munchenhausen wrote:Hey, if you find a congenital loss of arms sexually attractive, I ain't here to stand in your wayKeiichiO wrote:Says you.Zarys wrote:Because Rin lacks of sex appeal,
Plus I like either short haired or long haired girls. And I have a thing for redheads. Rin has short red hair.
I agree that Rin has sex appeal, while not immediately obvious unlike Lilly or Hanako and of course... Emi's mother. And Shizune and Misha. And Miki. And... *list goes on*
It's interest because it isn't obvious.

Is it strange that I don't find arousal but peace instead when looking at this picture?

I'm not sure what that image is trying to say. I also don't know what's so wrong with not being completely put off by a lack of arms.d2r wrote:*MeltingPotOfCage.jpg*KeiichiO wrote:I can look past that, and find beauty in her nubs.
@Megumeru - Not at all. I don't think it's supposed to be arousing.

I always find this a cute and amusing image, but the logistics of it don't work. Lilly would smell it ages before Hanako could even start to apply it, much less complete all five. And that's assuming Lilly was completely unaware of the concept of nail polish in the first place…Khalego wrote:http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/image/3922.png

Oh, I'm sure that's some of it. Certain pieces look suspiciously intentional in their "sexing up" of Rin though.KeiichiO wrote:People just have different styles.
